As the Operations Manager, since joining the Academy in 1997, Traci negotiates with Academy vendors to ensure group pricing for members on many products law firms in the membership may need. Traci is also in charge of product inventory, event materials preparation and shipping, and the processing of member product orders such as portfolio binders, audio recordings of past training sessions and quarterly newsletters. Traci works closely with Marketing and Member Services as well as Accounting to keep stock current and ready to ship. Traci has helped to develop organizational systems within the department and has worked with other staff members to ensure that all systems are implemented. She has won the employee of the month award and was named “best communicator” after only three months on the job.
Traci has over 20 years experience in customer service, having come to the Academy from DarMark Corporation where she was an office manager. She reported to the President and Vice President and as the Office Manager and Executive Assistant handling a wide range of duties including payroll, billing, insurance claims, public relations, and human resources. Traci’s talents don’t stop there however. Before landing her job at DarMark, she drove a fifth wheel truck for Bell Brands of San Diego County for two years.
Traci attended the Nordstrom Business Institute where she acquired her extensive knowledge of computer software programs.
A native San Diegan, Traci is married, has one daughter, one son, two dogs and two cats. Spending time with her family, movies, reading, shopping and going to the beach are her favorite weekend pursuits.
