As a Practice Building Coach, Timour coaches Academy Members on all aspects related to setting and accomplishing their business goals. Strategic planning is a cornerstone of this coaching and includes guidance on creating a mission and vision for their firm, as well as setting short-term and long-term goals. Members trust Timour to guide them through the various strategic business decisions, such as staffing, compensation, consultation skills, expansion, partnerships, and other leadership oriented topics. He is also passionate about training curriculum design, and believes that a clear and effective training curriculum is an essential tool to lead Academy Members to success.
Prior to joining the Academy, Timour worked his way through college both working in and managing restaurants. After college, he joined one of the leading adult education institutions, teaching young professionals how to pass the LSAT, MCAT and other application tests. His success as a teacher and tutor earned him the position of faculty manager for all of Illinois, where he managed and coached other teachers on how to help students realize their potential and achieve their goals. While in this role, Timour gained substantial experience designing and creating student and faculty modules, which helped accelerate growth and learning.
Timour earned a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from San Francisco State University. He is currently enrolled at UC San Diego, earning project manager certification and has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
Timour was born in Lebanon and lived in Cairo and Milan before immigrating to Washington DC at the age of ten. He has lived in San Francisco and Charlotte before settling down in San Diego with his wife, their son and their dog. Timour enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and traveling.
