Chelsea graduated summa cum laude from Loyola Marymount University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu. While at Loyola Marymount University, she worked at the newspaper all four years; participated in their Undergraduate Research Program looking at gender inequity on college campuses; and spent time in Jordan learning from grassroots organizations addressing the needs of the refugee community.
Personal
Born and raised in San Diego, Chelsea attended college in Los Angeles. While she had no intention of staying beyond her college days, she met her now-husband six months before graduating. She still lives in Los Angeles with her husband, now with a few extra roommates – her son Oliver and her furry son Kirby, the Shiba Inu. While her free time may be few and far between, when she has it she loves going on long walks and discovering new music.
