As a Practice Building Coach, Bri coaches Academy Members on all aspects related to setting and accomplishing their business goals. Strategic planning is a cornerstone of this coaching and includes guidance on creating a mission and vision for the firm, as well as setting short-term and long-term goals.
Bri is passionate about empowering Members to create, build, and achieve the life they dream about. Through positive psychology, tackling challenges, and capitalizing on opportunities, Bri partners with Members in developing effective systems, fluid workflows, and proven leadership tools to promote individual and firm-wide success. Bri believes that having the right people in the right seats is integral for harnessing any team’s full potential and promoting excitement in the process of growth and execution.
Prior to joining the Academy, Bri executed events for Texas A&M University in the College of Engineering, serving students, staff, alumni, faculty, and many generous donors. During the onset of the pandemic, she became a virtual events expert, developing video filming and editing skills and safely directing live broadcasts. With a teaching degree, Bri has spent countless hours developing curricula and training manuals in different contexts from civil engineering data reporting to creative writing and institutional knowledge. Her experience as a children’s program director provided opportunities in project management, recruiting, budget allocation, and human development.
Bri is also a certified health coach, trained by Duke’s Integrative Medicine professionals. She launched her own business and worked as a consultant with a health and wellness virtual start-up before joining our team.
Bri attended Southern Illinois University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education. She’s a licensed educator in the state of Illinois. Bri earned her Master of Arts in Counseling specializing in Mental Health and Wellness from Liberty University. She also completed Duke’s Integrative Medicine program in Health and Wellbeing Coaching.
Bri has spent over a decade mentoring young women, writing training materials and curricula, instructing volunteers and employees, and serving many communities from local schools and churches to universities and corporations. She has a deep passion for learning and is continuously engaging in research information concerning nutrition, sleep medicine, and neuroscience. She collaborates with her members through empathy, active listening, and lofty objectives.
Born in Chicago and raised in Memphis, Bri now lives in College Station, Texas. Her background as a former collegiate student-athlete still influences her love for movement and fitness. You can find her cycling at home or lifting at the gym. With seven countries and 35 states under her belt, she loves to travel and hopes to add Japan and Australia to her list soon.
