Andrea is the Peak Performers Program Coordinator. She is responsible for the planning and execution of any Peak Performers related meetings. As the Program Coordinator, Andrea plays an integral role in supporting the Peak Performer members. Andrea ensures that all their requests and questions are addressed, recognizes the areas of success each member has, and encourages the members to work towards their goals and daily reporting.
While attending the University of California, San Diego, Andrea became a Team Advisor for the medicine and healthcare program at an academic conference. As team advisor, she was in charge of a group of thirteen to fifteen high school students who expressed interest in the medical field. She led team discussions and medical related activities, worked with academic and leadership facilitators and acted as a mentor for the students.
Andrea was later hired as the Program Director for the same academic conference at Georgia Tech. and the University of Washington. During her time leading up to the ten day conferences, Andrea hired team advisors, booked tours, medical field trips, and guest speakers. During the conference, Andrea was responsible for leading a four day training session with her staff. She also ensured that the program was running smoothly. Working as a Program Director provided Andrea with many skills that she could use as the Peak Performers Program Coordinator.
Andrea attended the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology.
After living in Miami for 13 years, Andrea’s family packed up their belongings and moved across the country to California. Andrea decided to go to school in sunny San Diego, and has been in the area ever since. Andrea enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing, reading, and cooking.
