Importance of Systems The Academy’s Greatest Hits Free Eight-Session Training Course Presented by The American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys SESSION ONE OF EIGHT The Importance of Systems This 90-minute session features the Academy’s first keynote speaker, author of The E-Myth, Michael E. Gerber. By the end of this session, you will have a clear understanding of the principles the Academy has been built on... systems can build a successful practice. Creating a practice where the systems run the business, not the daily or moment-to-moment execution of detail work by the attorney, allows attorneys to be the CEO and Counselor in their law firm. Gerber covers the systems necessary to have a law firm run like a business. It begins with your "primary aim" and "strategic planning," and includes the importance of systems for client attraction and work fulfillment. When was the last time you worked on your practice instead of in it? This session consists of doing just that! If you would like more revenue, or less chaos getting the work out, or perhaps a four-day work week, only systems can help you get to these next levels. There are no materials for this session. We encourage you to sit back with a pen and yellow pad and do a little day dreaming about how you would envision your life and practice, with a few of these systems you can create on your own -- or ask the Academy for assistance. What our Members are saying: "I am very grateful for the American Academy of Estate Planning of Attorneys, Robert Armstrong, Sanford Fisch and the entire Academy Team. When I joined the Academy 18 years ago, I was at a crossroads in my legal career and ready to leave the practice of law. The Academy provided me with a "track to run on" and systems I could use to help families. It allowed me to continue to practice law and enjoy it. Without the Academy, we would not have been able to help more than 3,000 families implement thorough estate planning." Iowa Member Since 1995 © 2016 American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys.
