Academy attorneys are among the most sophisticated and educated estate planning counselors in the nation. It’s a distinction that requires a commitment to ongoing learning and our Members demonstrate this by maintaining 36 annual Continuing Legal Education hours in the areas of Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate, and Trust Administration.
While the Academy’s CLE requirement far exceeds that of most state bar associations, meeting the requirement isn’t as daunting as it might seem. Each year, we provide myriad educational opportunities, many of which can be accessed from the comfort of a Member’s home or office. Members can:
- Attend Local CLE Events
- Participate in Qualified Live Conference Calls and Webinars: We provide a balance of informative, practical and timely offerings, including a monthly classroom conference call and a variety of webinars and other distance learning opportunities.
- Access Qualified Recordings: Archives of past classroom conference calls are accessible via our Members Only website.
- Attend Academy Educational Events: The Academy hosts two Summits each year, one in the Spring and one in the Fall. Our Summits include 34 – 50 hours of available legal education credits annually.
