As estate planning attorneys, you know how important it is to stay on top of the latest industry trends, including the emerging use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate blog posts for marketing purposes. AI-generated blog posts are quickly gaining traction in the marketing world, and estate planning attorneys should take note.
AI-generated blog posts offer a number of advantages for estate planning attorneys. For one, they are cost-effective and can be created quickly. Since AI technology can be used to generate content for a variety of topics, you can easily create customized blog posts for your estate planning practice without having to outsource the work. Additionally, AI-generated content is written in a natural, human-sounding voice, which can help make your blog posts more engaging and relatable to your readers.
Another advantage of using AI to generate blog posts is that you can tailor the content to target specific audiences. AI technology can be used to generate content that speaks to the needs of your target clients. This includes writing on topics that are relevant to their particular situation, such as estate planning tips, tax law changes, and more. This helps to ensure that your blog posts are addressing the needs of your target audience, which can help to increase engagement and conversions.
Finally, AI-generated blog posts can help to reduce the amount of time and effort you have to put into creating content for your blog. With AI technology doing the heavy lifting for you, you can save time and energy that can be used for other tasks related to running your estate planning practice.
Overall, using AI to generate blog posts for your estate planning practice can be a great way to save time and money while also engaging with your target audience. If you’re looking for a cost-effective way to create content for your blog, AI technology could be the perfect solution.
“Write a blog post promoting the idea of using AI to generate estate planning blog posts for use in marketing.” That was the prompt I fed into OpenAI’s ChatGPT to generate every single word of the above blog post. “A photo of a robot attorney at a computer typing a marketing blog post. Attorney is sitting in their office at a law firm.” is the prompt I used in OpenAI’s DALL-E to generate this blog’s accompanying image. The entire process took me less than 5 minutes. It isn’t perfect. Frankly I find the blog a little boring and light on substance, but for five minutes of effort it is amazing. Were I to spend an additional 5 or ten minutes refining the prompt and then editing the blog itself, it would be as good or better than any blog I have written. AI has become amazing! …and terrifying.
Harvard Business Review, predicts that AI will be as disruptive to several industries as Uber was to the Taxi industry. Which specific industries will be disrupted is unclear, but ChatGPT is already passing law school and business school exams, and the first “AI attorney” will be supporting clients in traffic court this month*, so it is certain that the legal industry will be on the list. While we wait for this emerging technology, (and the courts) to figure all of this out, there are some obvious opportunities that have just opened up.
How much time is spent at your firm generating marketing content? How often have you said that you don’t have enough time to write a blog post, don’t have time to find that perfect image for that social media post, or don’t have time to update the slides on your presentation? AI has made all of these tasks much faster and less painful. No more endless scrolling through stock image sites looking for that perfect photo and since AI currently cannot hold copyright, you don’t even need to worry about image licensing.
What other uses for AI can you think of? Maybe use AI to expand that policy manual or employee handbook? Use it to design a new law firm logo? We would love to hear your ideas.
*Between writing this blog and it being published, the legal AI was prohibited from seeing the inside of a courtroom. This goes to show how fast everything with AI is developing.
