We just wrapped up one of our Academy Boot Camps for Members and Non-Members… and I just had to have a place to say this.
It absolutely would not be possible without the hours and hours of dedication and hard work of a LOT of people who never actually meet the attendees in many cases.
They’re behind the zoom, organizing the breakouts.
They’re in the back figuring out who isn’t here and who is.
They’re organizing the CLE approval or placing the lunch orders or building binders.
When the applause comes at the end…. they’re the ones NOT there to receive that unbelievably rewarding praise or appreciation when it all comes together.
Do you make sure your ENTIRE team is acknowledged? It’s such an easy thing to overlook when things are so busy. Recognition isn’t just about money. In fact, recognition and the need to feel appreciated have nothing to do with money.
How do you stop and make sure something specific is appreciated and convey that you really mean it?
Let this be a quick reminder that it’s never too late to look someone in the eye and say THANK YOU for something very specific.
Your challenge today — is to do just that. Twice.
By the way, thank you for subscribing to and reading our blog, all of us here at the Academy really appreciate the comments and the interest shown in what we do. We absolutely couldn’t have a blog without you.
