It feels like not too long ago we were just in San Diego for the 2021 Fall Summit, but as it so happens — time has flown by and we’re gearing up to see everyone for the 2022 Spring Summit in Austin, Texas in just a couple of months. We could not be more excited! Whether you have already registered (YES registration is open now through April 11!), or are considering who to bring, we have a number of reasons why you should consider attending the Spring Summit.
Location, location, location. The 29th Annual Spring Summit will be held at the brand-new Austin Marriott Downtown, the newest Marriott to open in Austin and settled right in the heart of all the fun. Walk to local restaurants, music venues, and take in the gorgeous views of the Colorado River from the hotel’s rooftop tiki bar, Zanzibar. If sight-seeing is on your bucket list, the Academy has you covered with our optional Friday Night Social Event: Austin City Tour & Dinner. Whether you’re a foodie looking for incredible BBQ, a history buff who has never seen the Capitol of the Lone Star state, a lover of music, or just hoping to soak in the ambiance of one of America’s most popular places to visit, Austin has something for you.
Sure, Austin sounds great, but why come now? Austin may always be there — but our jam-packed agenda won’t! Our team at the Academy has spent the last few months putting together a collection of sessions that you won’t want to miss. Fulfill your CLE hours while engaging with an Academy-favorite Speaker, Sam Donaldson, learn about Trending Tax Strategies and the Federal Tax Update, and come prepared to ask questions of our Education duo, Steve Hartnett and Tereina Stidd, as they guide you through the Fundamentals of Medicaid and answer your Frequently Asked Questions. Your teams will benefit from the variety of marketing sessions, along with in-depth training of Excel as it applies to CounselPro 8 and improve management skills with sessions on Hiring and Retention and Growing Your Prospect Database. Of course, we can’t overlook the valuable sessions presented by our President, Robert Armstrong, and CEO, Sanford Fisch.
Finally, if we’ve learned anything in the past couple of years, nothing beats sharing a room with a group of likeminded professionals who all have so much to contribute. Being onsite with the Academy team, and our incredible Members is something we look forward to all year long. The connections that are made in between sessions, or while mingling at the Cocktail Party or social events can’t be recreated anywhere else, and truly serve as pillars of support in both business and life.
