I’m really excited and always nervous about our big conferences twice a year. Our conference starts in Coronado SOON and we’re expecting a huge turnout. There are literally 7,432,098 details to iron out so that the event comes off without a hitch and participants feel like this is the best educational event they’ve ever attended.
The Academy team is like a well-oiled machine, I’m telling you it’s a beautiful thing to watch this amazing group of people put a world class event together. The Academy staff is working on everything from proofing, writing, designing… presentation prep, reservations, hotel details, materials… coordinating details for speakers, recordings, and special touches for our 20th Anniversary. We are truly blessed with a team that most other companies should envy.
Rather than get distracted by the details surrounding the Summit and our 8 Hour Boot Camp for our new Members and our Special Guests, I’m finding myself focusing on the Lobster Burritos with Jalapeno Cream Sauce that we’ll be feasting on at Miguel’s with our newest Members. It’s such a wonderful Coronado restaurant with a colorful history and great food – I just never get to go enough.
If I spend enough time thinking about those burritos and the faces of people I only get to see twice a year, I don’t get quite as worked up about all of the little things!
I hope to see many of you at our conference and of course, I highly recommend you catch a short cab ride across the island to Miguel’s if you have a chance!
