American Academy Members sometimes use an odd “verb” when discussing the effectiveness of their estate planning initial consultations with us and with each other.
It is not uncommon to hear someone say, “Were you Ganeshing?” or “I was totally Ganeshed!”
The nationally known coach we have relied on for effective consultation training is a Sandler Institute trainer named Guru Ganesha Khalsa. He’s nothing short of amazing! His style of teaching is humorous and engaging and… revealing. The recommended method of handling initial consultations MOST effectively, is all about getting the client to want to do what is in his or her own best interests. There is no other way to serve clients with more integrity than that.
Learning how to ask the right questions and lead a client through the maze of their own [sometimes painful] needs without confusing them, overwhelming them or pushing them into something that YOU think they need is where the magic of this training actually comes from.
Ganesh has not been available for this training since 2005 for our Members! We have locked him in for February 2011 in Las Vegas! If you haven’t attended, you really cannot miss it. Mark your calendars!
