The Academy has had a Board of Governors since its inception in 1993. This board is made up of a cross-section of the Academy. Members with years of estate planning experience and transition attorneys, as well as members from urban and rural markets represent the membership. This important Board meets regularly throughout the year by phone as well as special meetings during the semi-annual Summit meetings. Matters pertaining to membership, the marketplace, member comments and overall direction are discussed with the Board.
“Without the advice and guidance of AAEPA, my law practice would not be nearly as successful. The resources made available to members of AAEPA are invaluable. The ability to draw on the personal and practical experience of estate planning attorneys across the country coupled with the knowledge and commitment of the education department has allowed me to better assist my clients and their needs. Furthermore, the organized and efficient marketing systems not only helped me to find prospective clients; but also, helped me maintain client relationships. I owe much of the success of my law practice to AAEPA.”
